(TN&MT) - On January 2, the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province issued Decision No. 05/QD-UBND regarding the approval of the investment policy for Phuc Thinh General Garment Co., Ltd. to implement the project of constructing an export garment manufacturing and processing factory.

The project aims to build a factory for manufacturing and processing export garments, producing high-end products such as down jackets, padded jackets, etc., that meet the quality standards for international markets. It will operate with a capacity of 20 sewing lines, achieving a standardized output of 556,000 padded and down jacket products per year. The project’s operational duration is 50 years from the date of receiving the investment policy approval, utilizing a land area of nearly 20,000 m².

It is expected that the factory will officially commence operations in February 2021.

The project has a total investment of over 25 billion VND and is expected to start operations in February 2021.

The project will be implemented at the Dong Ai Tu Industrial Cluster (Trieu Phong District, Quang Tri), an area classified as difficult, which qualifies it for preferential policies such as corporate income tax exemptions, land rental fees, and import tax benefits.

The People’s Committee of the province requires the investor to carry out the project in accordance with regulations, adhere to the committed timeline, comply with current legal provisions, fulfill the investment guarantee deposit, and follow the reporting regime on investment activities as stipulated.
